Adaptable Home Designs is a unique company that is owned and operated by two physical therapists, each with 20 years of clinical experience. We deal with clients desiring to age in place or those desiring to adapt their environment to accommodate a disability. Our goal is to understand your current and future needs, create practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions, and help complete the project in a manner that addresses your unique situation.

We begin by assessing our client’s functional skills in their home environment, taking special care to determine their unique abilities and limitations. We keep an eye on the future, taking into consideration the changes that will impact them as they age.

The next phase of the assessment deals specifically with the home. This provides information on environmental barriers and necessary modifications. Because we appreciate the importance of space design and aesthetics, all suggestions for modifications fit with the style and design of the home’s décor.

A detailed report is provided to the client outlining the immediate and long term recommendations. Some clients use the report to implement the modifications themselves. Other clients desire assistance in implementation, and we are able to provide the necessary help in completing the project.
